Billing and Payment Questions

When will I be charged?

You will be charged immediately upon completing your booking. The full amount, including all fees and taxes, will be processed at the time of reservation confirmation.

What currency will I be charged in?

Prices are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) by default. If you're paying with a card issued in a different currency, your bank will convert the amount at their exchange rate, and you may incur foreign transaction fees.

What fees are included in the total price?

The total price you see at checkout includes:

  • Accommodation cost (nightly rate × number of nights)
  • Platform Service fee (charged by Booksini.com)
  • Applicable taxes (SST, tourism tax, etc.)
  • Any additional fees specified by the host (if any) (cleaning fee, extra guest fee, etc.)

Can I use promo codes or vouchers?

Yes, you can apply promo codes or vouchers during the checkout process. Enter your code in the designated field before completing payment. The discount will be reflected in your total amount.

Will I receive a receipt or invoice?

Yes, you will receive a payment receipt via email immediately after your booking is confirmed. You can also download your receipt from the "My Bookings" section of your account.

What if my payment fails?

If your payment fails, please try the following:

  • Verify that your card details are entered correctly
  • Ensure you have sufficient funds or credit limit
  • Check if your card is enabled for online transactions
  • Try using a different payment method
  • Contact your bank to ensure there are no restrictions on your card

Can I split payment between multiple cards?

Currently, we do not support split payments across multiple cards. The full amount must be paid using a single payment method.

How do refunds work?

Refunds are processed back to your original payment method. The refund timeline depends on your payment method and bank:

  • Credit/Debit cards: 1-5 business days
  • Online banking: 1-5 business days
  • Digital wallets: 1-5 business days
