Step 1: Create Your Host Account

To get started, you'll need to create a host account on Booksini.com.

  • Navigate to host.booksini.com/join OR Click "Become a Host" in booksini.com
  • Read all the "Become a Host" page information
  • Sign up as a host using your phone number and verify it with the code sent to you
  • Once your phone number is verified, you'll be taken to the onboarding page to verify your identity
  • Submit your Malaysian NRIC (Identity Card) for verification. Note: Currently, we only accept Malaysian NRIC and this service is only available to Malaysia residents
  • Fill in your host profile and contact details accurately. Upload a profile photo to help build trust with potential guests
  • Our team will review your identity and application. You'll receive a confirmation email from us once your application is approved

Step 2: Prepare Your Property

Before listing your property, ensure it's clean, safe, and ready to welcome guests.

Clean and Maintain

  • Deep clean all rooms and common areas
  • Ensure all appliances and facilities are working properly
  • Fix any maintenance issues
  • Remove personal items and clutter

Safety First

  • Install smoke detectors and fire extinguishers
  • Ensure all locks and security features work
  • Provide clear emergency exit information
  • Check electrical and gas safety

Essential Amenities

  • Provide clean linens and towels
  • Stock basic toiletries
  • Ensure reliable Wi-Fi connection
  • Provide clear instructions for appliances

Step 3: Add Your Property

Once your host account is approved, you can start adding your property. Click "Add Property" button in your host dashboard and follow these steps:

  • Choose your property type (Homestay, Hotel, or Resort - currently only Homestay is available)
  • Enter your property name and write a compelling description
  • Add your complete property address and location on the map
  • Specify property details (number of bedrooms, beds, bathrooms, and maximum guests)
  • Set your nightly rate and any additional fees
  • Define your property rules and cancellation policy
  • Select available amenities and facilities from the checklist
  • Add check-in and check-out times, property rules and additional informations
  • Upload high-quality photos of your property (minimum 8 photos recommended)

Step 4: Submit for Review

After completing all required fields, submit your property listing for review.

  • Review all information for accuracy before submitting
  • Ensure all photos are clear and represent your property accurately
  • Click "Create Property" to send your listing for approval
  • Our team will review your property listing within 24 hours
  • You'll receive an email notification once your property is approved and live

Step 5: Manage Your Property

Once your property is approved, you can manage it from your host dashboard.

  • View and edit your property details anytime (Note: Each property edit will be reviewed by our team before going live)
  • Update your calendar and availability
  • Adjust pricing based on demand and seasonality
  • Manage bookings and communicate with guests
  • Track your earnings and performance

Managing Your Bookings

Once your listing is live, you'll start receiving booking requests and inquiries.

Responding to Inquiries

  • Respond to guest messages within 24 hours

Accepting Bookings

  • Review booking requests carefully
  • Accept or decline within the specified timeframe
  • Communicate check-in details to confirmed guests

  • Clean and prepare the property before check-in

  • Ensure all amenities are working properly

Payment and Payouts
